I think I’ve found bliss: an improvisational vaudeville-style physical comedy troupe that specializes in tap dancing. I was lucky enough to stumble upon Parallel Exit soon after moving to NYC just over a month ago, and I love everything they stand for: classic, inventive, feel-good entertainment!
Parallel Exit, a resident physical comedy troupe in NYC, is previewing its new dance musical comedy “I ♥ BOB” this March.
Join me and the rest of the cast and be the first to see our brand new show!
Inspired by Charlie Chaplin’s City Lights and Gene Kelly’s An American In Paris, ”I ♥ BOB” follows the story of two desperately lonely characters attempting to connect within the speed and chaos of 21st century New York City.
This new work is brought to you by our brilliant creative team: director Mark Lonergan, choreographer Ray Hesselink, and composer Wayne Barker.
Thursday March 22, 7:30pm
Friday March 23, 7:30pm
Saturday March 24, 2:00pm
186 Jay Street
Brooklyn, NY 11201
Be sure and stay tuned for additional performance dates this July at the Joyce SoHo!
